Join Us in Welcoming Cara Colorado
Since Mark Bruce announced his intention to retire, we’ve been reminded of the remarkable legacy he’s built over his distinguished 37-year career. His unwavering dedication to public education reflects a deep-seated belief that every decision made on behalf of our students should open doors to brighter futures.
In that same spirit, we’re delighted to announce the appointment of Cara Colorado as our new assistant superintendent—human resources, effective January 6, 2025, after a time of transition with Mark.
Cara brings a wealth of experience and a proven commitment to excellence. She’s well-prepared to build upon the strong foundation Mark has established, helping us continue our commitment to leadership and innovation while educating our students to be responsible, skilled, and innovative citizens.
Cara currently serves as principal of Arthur Day Middle School and has been part of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ since 2014 in roles that include vice-principal, consultant, and divisional teacher.
